Heavy Metal band from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England (United Kingdom).
Started as a joint operation between SOB (with Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson), and Coast (with Biff Byford and Paul Quinn). Originally called Son Of A Bitch; renamed Saxon in 1977.

Featuring members & ex-members of Jetboy, Immigrant, Ruffians, Exodus &
American Heartbreak, The Butlers are a Rock n Roll band out for nothing
more nor less than a good time. Formed at their local watering hole, the
boys decided they would return to their roots playing the songs that got
them hooked on music in the first place. The Butlers deliver a raucous set
of all your favorite rock tunes from the 70's & 80's with a constant flow of
all-star guests; members of Tesla, Death Angel, LA Gun's, Testament &
Fang have sat in with the band. On this pedigree,The Butlers have
become known as The Vintage Rock n Roll party on 12 legs.
